Here at Your Access Consultant, our passion
is helping those who live with disabilities to
access more places and enjoy greater
freedom.
Whether an individual is a wheelchair user
who needs a specialist vehicle to access
rugged terrain, someone who experiences
mobility impairment due to health conditions
or injuries, or those who need temporary support
due to ill health or injury, we can help.

Jamie is an expert in Accessibility and Inclusive Design Consulting and specialises in Interior Design for individuals with disabilities. I have extensive qualifications and experience in this field.
Jamie has extensive experience working with a wide range of businesses, public sector organisations, local government, charities and voluntary organisations.
In 2010, Jamie started working as an Interior Design Specialist and developed an interest in assisting people with disabilities. Jamie was inspired to take access consultant courses in 2016 in London because of his personal experiences with hidden disabilities such as deafness, dyslexia, and Crohn’s disease.
He subsequently qualified in the following:
BA (Hons) 2:1 (Upper Division) Interior Design
Access Auditing & The Equality Act 2010
(An understanding of the practicalities of access improvements).
Housing Standards – Designing for Dementia – Accessible Housing
(Category 3 – Wheelchair user dwellings)
Building Regulations & British Standards 8300
(BS8300-1 2018 & BS8300-2 2018)
Access and way-finding in the pedestrian environment
(Key factors required to design accessible pedestrian environments and understand requirements relating to navigation, orientation and way-finding to enhance the accessibility of buildings and external environments).
Jamie is dedicated to helping people with disabilities achieve the same freedom that able-bodied individuals often take for granted. I strive to inspire individuals and businesses to create more accessible environments for everyone.
